High Mountain Bi Luo Chun

Region: High Mountain area, Jiangsu, China

Other Names: Bi Luo Chun, Pi Lo Chun, Green Snail Spring, Scary Fragrance, Xia Sha Ren Xiang, Spring Snail Shell, Green Conch Spring

Our High Mountain Bi Luo Chun is silver green in color, delicately small in size, curled like a conch and covered with rich silver downy hairs. This tender tea has an early spring fresh green highly fragrant tea aroma. When steeped the leaves unfurl into tender green soft small leaves and buds very consistent in size and shape. The tea liquor has a clear greenish yellow appearance and has a fresh mellow sweet taste.

To avoid damaging this delicate tea, the tea should always be steeped at temperatures around 162º F/72ºC. To enjoy the unfurling beauty of Bi Luo Chun’s tiny leaf sets and obtain its sweet taste, steep the tea in a clean and transparent glass by first pouring water in the glass and then dropping the dry tea leaves onto the water. Steeping in this way helps control water temperature and optimizes this delightful tea’s best taste.
